Dragging myself off the sick bed to tick this one off the grounds required. ( Cov, Crawley, Fleetwood & F-Green to go) had to miss a few aways god forbid of late.
Been to watch Ingerland previous V Holland but never the toothless terriers on tour at WHL in my lifetime.
Roger Burnley's departure is simply to spend more time getting the Asda - Sainsbury merger through or otherwise, he will be hoping he's the CEO that gets paid off I expect if 2 does become 1. I wouldnt read anything other than into his departure.
Tomorrow a 3000 sell out, most there for the reason above, even against a weaker squad 11 we'll struggle as Jan S has shown me very little so far to be hopeful of a strong Championship campaign, but I do advocate giving him time, a full pre season and as much of the £40m parachute Deano will allow to give us a fair crack come August ( and him 10 games before we all start screaming for his head)
Very suprised & please this week to read Sean Jarvis saying we're closing on the 18000 S/Ticket sales too, I really did think we'd drop to around 14k losing the good time charlies and Johnnycomelatelys, a real positive in these dark times. Without the £10m staying up bonus to pay this summer our next financial results will be healthier than the £23m recently reported for last season.
