). Mark and I took a lot of stock for filtering certain words but it’s not possible, without huge cost, to monitor ‘sentiment’ and so we will have to leave that to the Mods to decide what is acceptable or not.

I would love to think ex professional players are using this forum, especially Albion, and if they are I am 100% certain that they would not be offended by anything they read on here. They were certainly called much worse by fellow professionals, opposition and most likely their own fans. Back in the day.
However, it saddens me and it’s a sign of the times that when I read an article linking Big Sam to West Brom, I think, “Actually that’s not too bad”.
