Hi ya hope your well, Big_Dave and a couple of others have been barred I see on WBA unoff - our form and expectations are fickle really.
Most polls showed our expectations would be mid table - we have done a lot better then anyone expected (including me)
Sadly this has been at the expense of doing a good rebuild for an all out assault next season. We have focused on
promotion and with failed tactics and repetitive errors we're heading towards the mid table position, but with no progress made
on rebuilding. Squad wise we will be worse off at the end of this season then last. Things will not improve while Darren
is the manager - nobody wanted an apprentice as a manager, well I assume Jenkins was happy with the price he was paying.
Darren has some fantastic qualities, but he is far to close to the players to be a good manager. You cannot be the
manager making hard decisions and be best friends with your players - it does not work - it never has and never will.
A coach can be a middle man, the manager has to be his own man and what he says goes. Darren needs to go back to
working with youngsters and forget management. And the "legend" status I keep seeing is rubbish. He was a fair defender
played 100 games for us (spent quite a bit of time injured, sub, etc) he was nothing special tbh. He was never in the Wile
Robertson grade. I like him, because he loves the club. But "Legend" not in my book.
Our new recruitment team clearly demonstrated in the January window what they are going to be doing - SPENDING NOTHING

They have not found us any gems, we may as well get rid of them - waste of space, time and money IMO.
All in all we are on the slippery slope and it's all downhill, to halt this Lai needs to invest and Darren and Jenkins has to go.
We tried Darren and it's been a cheap short term option with titanic costs now coming our way.
