In Totnes two and three quarter hours before any kick off would be way more than on-time. BUT in Totnes up to twenty minutes after kick-off would be looked upon as reasonable.
I think Scott Boden is all right - a fair non-league striker, who if he'd already have been on the books I'd have kept him, but who I wouldn't see as a solution to our major problem, which is an inability to score from open play.
The next two games will be a major test for us. We need three points from one of those games. Winning at Fylde won't be like winning in the Cup and judging by Harrogate's fightback at Dover they aren't trying to avoid the play-offs and the danger of promotion.
I love the idea of playing a friendly against Lincoln. I don't think they do friendlies. If Carter and Maguire are training today that counts as fit for Saturday for me.
Can I believe the report I read of the Halifax game, we played 3-5-2 with Shaw and Chapman as wing backs? Really?
As for giving Lincoln's 18 year-old game time whilst our 18 year-old doesn't even merit a place on the bench that seems to smack of merely wanting to finish one place above Dover and next season can take care of itself.
