At last, back to ER to face a top four team that has a very good league record v Hibs - we have not won many games v the Dons down the years and they will be the favourites to win again tomorrow. However, there have been some signs this season that Hibs can go "toe to toe" with them, particularly in that League Cup quarter-final at ER last year when IMO we were "robbed" by them on a night when goal scoring was not in the Hibs script - goal chances galore but no takers!! What team will Eddie field tomorrow? Will he opt for the obvious and field the side that ended the last match v Saint Mirren? I don't think we were too secure defensively v a poor SM team. So there is poss some scope to improve it. Mark McNulty is already back with us and is a hibee. Do we play him? I'd be tempted to replace Kamberi TBH!
Big Marv must be fielded in a defensive mid position but Milligan is back from his Oz gig and will provide good defensive back up. Will any of our other signings be given a start? Lots to ponder although I suspect "safety first" will be paramount in Eddie May's thinking. C'mon Hibs! Lets at least "have a go" and try to win this match at home and endorse that decent home record!
