Rather have Benik Afobe tbh than Rhodes. Apparently available from Stoke, who paid up the loan from Wolves who originally paid £10m to Bornmuff. Then he stayed on the Cross Country train from Bornmuff to Manchester and got off at Stoke, who offered £12m to Wolves. Due to some technicality which I cba to look up but likely meant Stoke couldn't get him direct from Bornmuff, he went on a loan with a view to a permanent transfer. Just checked, looks like that was concluded early Jan but t'new gaffer don't like him for some reason. Strange when you've just coughed up the residue on the £12m but that's the way the oatcakes crumble.
Didn't see much diff last night either. Huffed and puffed and barely had a shot on target again. You'd expect a Prima Donna League goalie to save the 2 that were.
