After all the votes tonight, we're not really any further forward. Yes, MPs have voted to avoid a No Deal, but we've always wanted to avoid a No Deal, so there's no progress there. The default position is still No Deal on 29 March, unless a Deal is agreed with the EU.

MPs have also voted to send Mrs May back to the table to re-negotiate a Deal that the EU say they won't re-negotiate. So, after 22 months of hard bargaining, we're now scrambling about, against the clock, to make some progress. Never trust politicians, especially those in a position of power.

All that was clarified yesterday was that a useless, cowardly,craven WM majority for a Brexit outcome that can never happen was secured. In fact they were told that it wasn't possible before the vote.

I'm listening to another EU spokesman talking to a bbc Newsnight, the view being this Brady move is something to preserve the unity of the Tory party! Spot on and there is no negotiation forthcoming, May knows that fact!! I think the UK govt is an embarrassment globally, no doubt! Also EU ensuring Ireland is being protected and has May got any credibility left??? Nooooo!!!
