I can understand why you'd look Siewert. Dortmund do seem to be good at pulling rabbits out of their second team hat.
On the other hand I can't help wondering whether there isn't someone in the equivalent job in England's top two divisions who would be worth a try? And if there isn't .......... what the hell are we doing?
It does seem at the moment when a struggling Premiership club sacks its manager it's either Sam-Allardyce time, or someone promising who is necessarily not in this country. I liked Wagner, but why haven't got one?
