Good article - as you say, Beefy, tells it like it is, in simple terms.
Seems like Lai never thought of the possibility of us going down, and now he's forked.

From here I can only see 3 scenarios :
1) Lai invests enough NOW to ensure we go up..... obviously not happening
2) He cuts his losses and sells
3) We stay down, parachute payments end and we join the ranks of reality, like Leeds, the 2 Sheffields, Norwich, Bolton, Wigan etc.
    Arguably some of those are 'bigger clubs' than us in terms of fan base and resources; some are doing well now but have all struggled for a few years to maintain even an average footing in the Championship.

Sadly it seems like every club needs a sugar daddy to be successful - whatever that means - in the top 2 divisions.

I may be wrong but aren't Norwich doing it atm WITHOUT massive backing? If so, fair play - bloody well done and good luck to them!
