Interesting day, it looks first of all like corbyn is going to fight a 'no deal' scenario as hard as he can, and he whipped the labour MPs to support the amendment. He also allowed Cooper to make it so it stood more chance of success rather than it coming from the front bench.
If mays deal is voted down parliament has to find an agreeable path forward, and we need to withhold article 50 for the time being to do that. If that solution can't be found then there simply has to be a general election or a 2nd vote to break the logjam.
