I wouldnt say that hogg isnt a leader or anything like that, but I'd say he's limited as a player, but we need more than one leader on the pitch. You need three or four of them.

Schindler seems like a naturally quiet guy who probably tries to lead by example rather than vocal encouragement or anything like that.

Zanka I think used to be captain at his old club, but I've seen nothing from him to suggest he could be a leader here, too rash and seems like he could be a character that splits opinions, in fact I know he has been doing so in the squad since the world cup.

Then what, Tommy Smith who blames others for his mistakes, but seems more like the sort of character that can try and get more from people.

I think that is why puncheon was brought in, he's been palaces club captain for a few seasons and I think wagner is wanting him to help in that department on the pitch
