rangers have pretty much the identical points total they had at this stage of the season under warbs and mad Pedro though. Is that really improvement.? By the looks of it Gerrard has been financially supported far more than those other guys too. Whats really changed this season is that Celtic have dropped a lot more points away from home otherwise it wouldn't even be a contest at this stage.
To be fair Gerrard did well to get them to the group stages of the europa after having little time to prepare, but he had the easiest teams possible in their group and only managed to win twice.
Celtic are a far better side and if they turn up they should win.
