Just back from ER and I must say delighted with the draw in a fairly dogged performance by Hibs that saw Gerrard deploying a hi-press game plan that gave Hibs very little time on the ball and any "stragglers" would be "found out"! We had lotsa stragglers in that respect and it took quite a while for certain players to "get to grips" with what was happening. I'll take the draw as it extends Hibs unbeaten run and pass marks to Stevo and Ryan Porteous who were unfazed by these tactics and stuck doggedly to their defensive tasks. Bogdan also immense and one could say he "saved our bacon" with some great saves. Olie Shaw also not prolific enough as he scorned two decent goal opps - ran into great positions but no clinical finishing, gotta do better. The same goes for Hyndman with no coolness to finish a good breakaway move. Lastly I must give a "special mention" to our favourite ref, Craig Thomson, who never fails to get involved in some contentious move to deny Hibs some kinda promising attack or pk to win a match. Booed off the pitch by Hibs fans AGAIN! His record since about 2003 (when he started officiating top league matches) is an absolute disgrace when it comes to winning matches under this guy's control!! I can count Hibs victories on one hand - IMO highly questionable and suspicious!!
