Much more consistency in the PL this week compared to previous weeks and finally a week with no negative totals!! Leading the way this week is Zinman on 15 points, scoring points on 6 games and due to his reluctance to play the Gamball he was able to gain 3 points on everyone else even though like everyone else he got this prediction wrong!! Close behind in 2nd was World Class on 13 points, his second week on the trot in 2nd spot and a score that is sure to see him continue to move up the table. Rounding out the top 3, and rounding out those in double figures is BBB with 12 points, a score that will see him top the table after a consistent run over the past few weeks.

After the top 3 we see 5 players scoring 8 points - SCO, Derby, Sanjay, Beefy and Lord Snooty. SCO, Sanjay and Snooty would have done much better if they could actually avoid negative scores on the Gamball and Bonus Ball!!! Derby got a week high 5 correct results, he just needs to turn some of those into correct scores and he would fly up the table!! Beefy scaled back his promise of a 20 point haul this week to 15, but he remains consistent in his inability to get anywhere near the top!!! Maybe he can drop it again this week to 5 points just to give him a decent shot next week of finally overachieving!!

In 9th spot this week was Amelia on 3 points, a total that isn’t going to do much good in her fight against relegation but she should take some comfort in getting 4 correct results, fine margins and all that!! In 10th and last place is the current PL leader Matt, although after his zero score I think he will now be the ex-PL leader after Bomber collates the tables!!!

BBB reclaimed top spot after losing it last week and has opened up a ten point lead over a familiar face from the top of the Premiership last season as Zinman moves menacingly up two places and into 2nd after spending much of this season in mid-table.

Matt didn’t trouble the scorers this week and as a result suffers a slide down the table from the summit last week down into 3rd though only a point further back, it’s then another five points back to SCO who was top just a few weeks back, but has suffered a bit of a mini slump dropping another place to 4th.

5th down to 8th, Derby, Worldclass, Sanjay and Beefy remain as you were, due entirely to them all scoring, with various permutations, 8 points this week, and for those who are not aware that’s 12 points short of somebody’s impossible dream and still 7 short of their supposedly easier to achieve prediction   .

Amelias struggles continued at the wrong end of the table as she could only add 3 points to her tally keeping her in 9th, losing ground on those above her and also allowing Snooty to close the gap and also seeing him pass the 100 point landmark for the season   .

A better week for the Championship with only one match not generating a positive total. One maximum on the gamball, one correct bonus score and a Baggies away win - what's not to like?

Oddly, that gamball maximum wasn't enough to secure first place. That honour falls to 4eva with an impressive 18 points thanks to 3 correct score predictions including the bonus, 3 other correct scores and a score ball point. Fortunately for the rest of the division, 4eva lost points on the gamball, otherwise the mythical 20 point week would have made an appearance. The top 3 is made up by Twerton, helped by the gamball max, and Stairs, one of 3 players to get 6 correct results and the only other player to score on the gamball.

Mid-table sees Baggie_One continuing his recent decent form to again reach double figures. Bomber, after 2 poor weeks, got his promotion push back on track and Quantum maintained his run of boringly average scores - helped by wimping out of the gamball yet again.

Our long time leader Themaclad had his worst week for some time to offer hope to the rest and then finally there was Joker, failing to get his predictions in to bring his recent improvement to a shuddering halt.

The Championship is still split into 2 mini leagues, or 3 if you count bottom spot   .

That hasn’t stopped all kinds of musical chairs going on with places this week, though themaclad remains one of the few constants as he maintained top spot even with one of his less than spectacular weeks, he leads by 16 points to a new challenger in the shape of 4eva moving into 2nd spot courtesy of a maximum on his bonus, his first success of any sort with that ball since week 5 .

Making way was Quantum who dropped down into 3rd, though he’s only a couple of points adrift, while Bomber slides another place for the third time in as many weeks after being tied for top spot just a few weeks ago .

Twerton continues in his rich vein of form that has seen him add 41 points over the last three weeks and sees him climbing another place into 5th, BaggieOne makes way for him dropping a place to 6th though he’s only a further 2 points back.

Stairs crept ever closer with a decent week but still remains one off the bottom in 7th, while Joker who couldn’t afford to miss a week in his predicament – did just that and missed the week to sit stranded at the bottom 60 points adrift   .
