The trouble is I fear that sufficient bad things may need to happen to drive both sides to the table. And we don't seem to have reached that point yet, even just above the relegation zone in the National League. I get the impression maybe only a near-death experience will be enough
Someone of integrity would have to act as honest broker to mediate between the two sides. Suggestions?
Well I'd suggest asking Geoff Miller and Bob Wilson because of their age and sporting connections ...... and because both sides might actually like them enough to be honest with them and might be ashamed to be seen acting like fools in front of them.
