I had planned to go to this match with a Brentford fan friend. Then it became a Monday Match and we liked that idea.

I then planned to work in Solihull and go to the match. But now have to have calls with the US and so can’t attend.

I will be sat in my study plugged into a video conference call with my iPad playing the match next to the monitor. They (the US guys) are going to see very strange reactions and facial expressions at odd moments during the meeting

Memories. I was living in the US during one of our promotion seasons and had a meeting in my office during the vital match at home to Sheff Wed. I had my computer on the BBC text commentary out of site of everyone else but when Brunty fired in the equaliser late on I couldn't stop myself from celebrating. Cue some explaining to a bunch of confused Americans.
