DS was better that's a fact, but it's a lot to do with the funny handshake society in the 60s, 70s & 80s.
I think Big Ron was very influential in the promotion of black players with ourselves and the Seals
during the 70's & 80's - Batson also moved into the political football arena. This helped break down
barriers that were evident at those times.
Wba have had lots of influence within the FA over the years, which should have helped, but alas
