Well I'm all for Rowley getting in the team and making the jump to being the mainstay in central midfield. But it is difficult both for him and the manager because if the team doesn't function in that area it has a terrible effect on both attack and defence. To be fair I don't think Allen was satisfied with what Rowley was doing and didn't trust him in the role. If he could trust him against Fylde and Rowley proved himself capable of the job ....... then it should work against other teams. Croasdale, Brewitt and Philliskirk in midfield with forwards Kellerman and Cardle able to drop back when needed is as strong and flexible a line-up as we'll face in the middle of the park.

I've said all along the choice with Muggleton should be play him or ditch him. You either make him a weapon ... or you forget about what he can do very well and judge him only on the rest of his game (which seems mad to me ..... it's like forgetting about Beckham's ability with a dead ball and concentrating on his lack of pace). Unfortunately for Muggleton a lot of fans seem to judge the rest of his game in terms of his throw-in - and as his throw-in is world-class they judge the rest of his game to be worse than it is.
