TBH Dev I quite enjoyed it in a strange ,morbid way ,not because it was edge of the seat stuff, but because we had 11/14 genuine honest lads out there clearly giving all for the cause and definitely playing for the manager. We got stuck in and competed well against one of the so called high fliers in the division .No it isn't my ideal sort of football but it wasn't all lump it forward stuff either and for the first time it looked like they were playing the way the manager wanted them to play.We still lack quality especially in attacking areas but there were positives to take from it.Maguire had his best game in a town shirt in my opinion and Muggleton showed he doesn't just have a long throw to his game.Rowley was quite a revelation in his central midfield role, getting a foot in on many occasions which wasn't supposed to be part of his game ,and his usage of the ball was decent.
The only issue i have is whether Allen stumbled across this first 11/14 by accident or design .
