The game last night was one of so many missed scoring opps and how Hibs never won this match in the 90 mins is beyond me. The Dons were generally punchless in this game and I never thought they'd score last night with Efe and Milligan absolutely outstanding! The forward stats are staggering: 22 Hibs shots on target, 6 for Aberdeen. How did we lose this cup tie? Well Shaw didn't help in the latter stages when 1 on 1 with the Dons' goalie and has to score to deservedly see Hibs progress to the semi-final!!! He choked!! As for the pk decider, most of our 1st pick kickers were injured but we still did OK and I really felt for young Agyepong and sensed he was gonna miss his kick. I was right. I also reckon if McGinn was still in the Hibs team we would have won this as John would not have missed all the scoring opps that Hyndman scorned last night! Anyway, one benefit of this cruel result is we can concentrate on our league fixtures, the next one being the Buddies, and I think we will be ahead of AFC by season end based on last night's observations. It's now a case of waiting to see what the the "injury damage" is!? I hope it is not too bad. Kamberi looks like being hamstrung - wait n see as McLaren is also sidelined for about a month. However, other injured players now returning.
