I've been to Nailsworth a lot: they are ALL vegans, unless they come across a wild boar in the forest and then it's bacon sandwiches all round. Dale Vince is a hippy anyway and should be in The Young Ones. And of course it is true everyone in the Forest of Dean is everyone else's aunt or uncle and the requisite number of fingers and toes is indeed a matter for debate.

I have several friends who are vegans and they are always trying to push it on to people who eat meat. I say to them if you want to be vegan that's your choice but don't ram it down other people's throats.
