For me, the squad now need to make light of it behind closed door, take the piss out of him a bit, vote it the goal of the month or something similar but don't let the lad stew on it at all!! Use it as a bonding exercise for him with the rest of his brand new team mates!! You have to feel for a kid doing that on his debut but his intentions were good, just failed to execute them!! He will have to live with it now no matter what, the rest of the squad need to make sure that it doesn't affect him.
