So has anyone been following the goings on down at S6 tonight??  As you all know I am pretty much a happy clapper on most things, I try to look for the best in situations and hope that the trust we put in people at our club will bear fruit once in a while, but the fan forum tonight has been an absolute horror show by all accounts!!!!  

Apparently we are not under an embargo (although I am not sure this exact question was asked!!) but we are working with the EFL to try to sort some things to be able to sign maybe some loan players.  But the kicker came a bit later than that, DC stated that if we do not get promoted this season then we will be in real trouble next season, to the point that he is more worried about a points deduction than any fine the EFL could give us!!!!!!!!  Holy f....king cow!!!!!!  Assumptions are obviously being made but with the window set to close on Thursday it would not surprise anyone if FF, Bannan, Lees and Westwood were sold to simply try to put us in a position where we might not get a points deduction next season!!!  

There is no doubt that we are now in trouble, we won't go out of business because DC has the money to prevent that and we can say what we want about P&S/FFP that it prevents a club like ours from spending the money we have because our revenue cannot reach the heights needed until we reach the Prem, but the mismanagement and gung-ho attempt over the last two seasons to get to the promised land is likely to see us relegated after we lose our best players and have to play the kids!!!  DC must take the bulk of the responsibility for this, but I put the blame at others feet as well as his - those advising him, Doyen Sports and Carlos in particular.  We got lucky in the first season to get to Wembley after hitting form at the right time, that was our chance!!  We followed this up with a near miss that should have seen us at least get back to Wembley but because of the poor expensive signings that Carlos requested and DC approved, we missed out again and then the wheels came off last season with injuries no one could have predicted and Carlos floundering with no plan B.

We have spent two years chasing the dream, had one bad season for a variety of reasons and can now expect to take a slump as a club in order to reboot and go again, relegation will likely be avoided by luck rather than skill and then the shit will truly hit the fan next season anyway!!!  Unbelievable Jeff!!!!

We obviously had/have a Manafort type accountant. Budgets and forecasting should have seen this looming and no-one can guarantee promotion so failure is an option that should have definitely been considered. I have to take the postings on OT about the evenings events with some filtering but the Star will be as equally bad with Doom corresponding. What is the most bizarre is the timing of DC holding this event. At least wait until the transfer window has closed.
I still believe he has good intent but is just inept and has bad advice when trying to implement it.
