Has any other club gone through the on and off field shenanigans we have since DA took the helm? How the hell he runs other successful businesses is beyond me.

If the take over went ahead, it certainly looks as though Martin Allen would have walked and that is probably what broke the deal. Well done MA and more power to your elbow. I assume he has a written contract that details his specific role which would have been broken had a DOF been brought in above him opening the door for a constructive breach of contract claim. Who would have paid that? Other addons with pay offs for all the backroom staff probably made somebodies eyes water a bit.
Glad its ended with us still having a manager that might just perform a minor miracle and get us back in the football league on a low budget. I wasn't too sure when he was appointed but really am becoming more and more positive, so much so I am going down to Ebbsfleet next week.
