For me, employing Moore is a bit like going down the casino and putting £1000 on red or black.
Despite the improvement in form at the tail end of last season, I don't think that we learnt a lot about him as a manager, tactically. Definitely not enough to know if he's cut out for the massive job ahead.
What worries me is that with a potential mass exodus on the horizon, it could be an extremely tough job even for the most experienced manager. Being a pessimist, I'm worried that we could fall into insignificance for 10 years regardless of the choice of manager. Employing someone who has never overseen a transfer window, with a potentially massive window in front of us, doesn't really ease my fears.
Let's just hope we can keep the momentum of Moore's spell last season and this helps us to keep the bulk of the squad together, as one good sign under Moore was that the players appeared to want to play for him.
