What an atmosphere at the Shrine yesterday. We battled and put our bodies on the line and thoroughly deserved the win! My Man if the Match was Ben! Superb saves again to keep a clean sheet. I was disappointed with Nyom's acting! He was hardly touched yet threw himself on the ground as if Mike Tyson had hit him. He then totally lost the plot and could have been red carded. Well done to Brunty and the other players who managed to calm him down. I thought the ref favoured Spurs big time and the linesman on the East Stand side was totally inept. He missed several blatant offsides but luckily Spurs didn't capitalise. He also failed to spot fouls that were two feet in front of him and he was so far behind play he didn't see Lloris carry the ball over the touch line for a corner.
It was lovely to hear what Big Dave had to say at the end of the game. What a shame Everton are so crap they struggled against Southampton. We are hanging on in there by our fingertips. Come on you Baggies! Could we have the Greatest Escape of all time?
Well done to Stoke on being the first Premier club to be relegated this season! Ha ha ha!
