I have never heard of a Swamp Owl. Perhaps St Charles has a more in-depth knowledge of strigiformes. On dress-sense and vocabulary alone I'd disqualify Sheridan. I imagine his non-league knowledge is also minimal.
I'll be interested to see how Llera and Evo set up the team. BUT my instinct is to rule them out as a combo for next season as very few purely league managers succeed in the Vanarama and this combination have no real experience at either this level or even of management. They MIGHT be brilliant, but they they look to me as big a gamble as the assistant at Aldershot.
I'm amazed Luke Garrard's even in the betting, but I would go for this 33/1 chance and see if he would work with Evo as Assistant. Llera would get a good pay rise, would be called Director of Development, would look after not only the juniors as juniors but their entire progress into first team players and would be looking at the recruitment of talent at all levels. He seems great at what he is doing to me. And I can't see a better way of assuring our future. Alongside Garrard, who has proved his ability to recruit top non-league players, Llera might give us back a future. The club should be talking to him now and seeing how he regards his future. If Miguel Llera really wanted to be manager I'd go with him so long as he recruited a non-league man to work alongside him. There is a possibility that Evo doesn't not think his playing career is over and he could provide great cover whilst taking much greater responsibility off the pitch ............
The really difficult part of this equation is that we need to appoint someone good despite our recent record and he has to be able to convince potential signings that our aim is to use the last two seasons' disasters as a launch pad for immediate success. To excite people and get players keen to hop aboard we need to convince them that our aim is not only to win the Vanarama next season, but also to go through Division Two like a dose of salts too. (And I'm not even convinced that the club actually wants to get back into the EFL.)
