BBB, what I mean by step-up is Lee Johnson is at a club where a mid-table finish is a good season. Anything more is a bonus. If he came to WBA he would be walking into a club where a mid-table finish next season will be a bad season. He would be coming into a club where the play-offs at the very least will be expected.
My question marks over him would be has he got the ability and know how to not only rebuild a playing staff but to also achieve promotion within two seasons. Time would tell on that but I think those question marks over him are fair.
