Beefy, I had a similar thought for next season but on the current basis,

My idea was still that two go down but only the champion goes up automatically ........

Then 2nd plays 5th and 3rd plays 4th predicting all four play off semi finals from each league ....... That's twelve games ......

The two winners contest the final by predicting the three play off finals ............

If you wanted to include the prem then bottom goes down, 2nd bottom replaces the 5th place person so

Prem vs 4th
2nd vs 3rd. Semis stay the same .......

But I think it would need to be next year as moving the goalposts this late on seems a bit harsh .........

Thoughts anyone ... how about a poll, a referendum, an election ........ we need another one of them I am getting voting withdrawal ....... looking forward to the manifestos, the untruths, the slogans and the campaign buses ....... oh deep joy.
