Yes, I'm an Englishman living in Scotland and have been here for 37 years. To be honest, I've never had any problem with my nationality, partly I suspect because I see myself as a Brit and I don't like nationalism of any hue, Scottish or English. As a result, the occasional comment tends to wash over me, a bit like you described yourself. Really, I've never experienced any anti-English sentiments; I mean you get banter when it's England v Scotland at rugby or football but, to be honest, the comments are worse when the Baggies play the Vile. There's also a lot of good feeling towards the Albion when people know I support them, I think a lot of that is down to our fairly long history of having Scottish players...either that or it's just pity
