It's high time they started bringing in this length of ban for football cheats as well. See how many players keep diving in the area when there's a possibility of a 12 month ban on offer. What's the difference between a cyclist taking drugs to help him get stronger, a cricketer rubbing sandpaper on the ball to make it swing and a footballer diving to win a penalty?
