Your team selection is inspirational, however I must point out a small but important technical consideration that may have escaped your attention. A somewhat obscure rule of the Football Association states that “teams will not field dead players”. This rule was added after the somewhat notorious game played in 1897 between Bootil Rovers and Knotvery Athletic when the referee discovery a number of “players” were in fact deceased and in various states of decomposition on the pitch. The ref’s attention was first drawn to this when a static back two failed to move to defend a thro ball and seemed only inclined to lean on each other in a drunken manner.
