They played exactly as we have attempted to do against the big six. Difference being, they played it far better than we ever have. It was a classic example of how playing against ten, can create its own problems when that team pretty much forfeits any attacking play, and just packs out the defence. Considering the possession we had, we only really troubled them twice. Lumping the ball into the box from the wings, when there is at least twice as many defenders than attackers in there, then, unless those crosses are accurately targeted, and yesterday they simply weren't, then it's not surprising the end result. When it's not working, you change it. We didn't. And got what we got. Not a disaster. I predicted a draw, and am reasonably happy with the point, albeit in circumstances that, had we got more attacking quality in our ranks, would have pocketed all three. Palace will be different. They will attack. And hopefully that will play a little more into our hands. Here's hoping anyway!
