Matt Glennon on the radio talked and talked for about half an hour after the game blaming van La Parra for the defeat. Having now seen his mis placed pass, I can see how much bollocks he was actually talking.
Rajiv van La Parra is our most skilful player and doesn't deserve such venom from this pundit. I've a good mind to go stand at the back of his hair salon and talk shit about his hair cutting skills.
I've been Rajiv's biggest advocate for a while, he's our most skilful player and on his day is invaluable. However, he needs to sort himself out for this run-in and stop being such a fanny. At West Brom he was lucky not to cost us a goal by blatantly diving and giving the ball away allowing them to counter with men over, and that happened more than once. The second goal for Spurs was a world class ball from Kane followed by a great header from Son (best player on the pitch by a mile - so underrated), however you can't seriously watch that and say Rajiv is in no way to blame. He bottles challenges too often and on Saturday played a pass blind because he shit himself when someone got close to him. In closer games that will cost us.
He starts every week for me, but he has to man up the next 2 months and help us over the line.
