Tony Pulis was a necessary evil at the time. He was the football equivalent of a prostate exam; not particularly enjoyable (unless you're called BeefyBaggie
) but necessary to ensure good health for the future in that region (Premier League).
However, Tony Pulis had a shelf life of 18 months and he should have gone at the end of the 2015/2016 season when we finished 14th. The quality of football had decreased rapidly and the season finished with 1 win in our final 10 matches causing a big number of fans, myself included, to turn on him and want him gone.
