Without knowing the reason, I'd give the benefit of the doubt, and say it could have been anger, disappointment or frustration at the result and performance. I'd have been a lot less forgiving had be ripped the shirt off and thrown it to the ground, like I've seen others do before.
On the other question, yes he's been an almighty flop and would be one of a few shown the door at the end of the season, but he is just one of another who's has not only wasted a shirt but also disgrace it like Evans, Myhill and Barry
