Yes Matt, I suppose it is two divisions, I meant and should've said there is only a division between them and the Conference (One North or South). That's a smaller step than between the Premiership and Division Two and U-21 Premier sides in the Checkatrade; even when benefitting from over-age players, mostly struggle against weakened versions of Division Two outfits. Our oldest player was 19 wasn't he, bridging the gap at Buxton? It has to show they aren't that far off the level we need them to reach.

Though I said I'd never go back to Bob's I did sneak a look to see what they were saying about this win and only one poster seemed to have got that it is a real achievement. I think they dismiss Buxton as rubbish, but they have to be a decent team. I played against players of that standard and they were bloody good footballers, maybe not top pro's and maybe they all lacked an odd little something, but they all had several aspects of their game which were very strong and they'd all learnt not to be muscled out of a game. Maybe Bob's need to try playing against Buxton to see how good you have to be even to live at that level.

Buxton are a very good team and the club has a lot of potential. They have been a bit disappointing this season in the league and are currently looking for a new manager. Be interesting to see what will happen when they get there 3G/4G pitch.

Also talking of artificial pitches, if Sutton United got promoted through the playoffs they would have to rip up there pitch and relay grass, now this could cost a lot of money for Sutton and if they can't afford to do it then would we stay in the league or would the runner-up in the playoff final go up? It's probably clutching at straws
