Pros and Cons

Biggest advantage is the opportunity to re-build the club on a more sustainable basis. The players are cheaper, the wages are cheaper, and we won't be in direct competition with any bigger, more attractive clubs, so we should be an attractive home for very good non-league players. The asking price for the club if DA wants to sell would have to fall radically. Going down will almost certainly force him to make his intentions clear - they might, however, be to force us out of business ..........

If you look at League Two you will find way more than half the clubs have played non-league football since WW2. If you look at the Vanarama more than half the clubs have been in the league and all the current top four are former league league clubs.

In terms of youth development our young players should be ready slightly earlier to make a first team impact and being in the Vanarama should hasten their development if they can make the most of that opportunity.

To be honest on-field I don't think spectators will notice a vast deterioration in playing standards. There ARE good players. Danny Rowe would be the best player in our division too.
