You're right about not expecting a win. The frustration is that Bournemouth didn't expect to hit three at Stamford Bridge and Watford didn't expect to get four, but they both did. We lose 3-0 and that about sums us up. We are dreadful, we're adrift and we'll be relegated, and we deserve it.
Waving the white flag at Man City away was more frustrating to be honest. We did at least try and give Chelsea a game in this one; could have been very different if Rodriguez had scored from that early chance.
I agree with you but this season has been an unending "if only...". Unlike most other teams, we seem to need to create about ten chances before we score one of them. It used to be that we couldn't score but kept it tight, now we seem to be shipping goals for fun.
