Baggieman - 4eva has put my viewpoint across very well. I am a fan of the club first and foremost and for the most part Pulis did a reasonable job, if hard to watch, in what is a very tough division for all clubs outside the financial elite. Under him as well as Pardew this season we have squandered a ridiculous number of points from winning positions which could have had us well clear of danger.
I will be convinced that Pardew is the man not before he keeps what we all must know by now, is a side which is several places below its rightful place in the league. We still have a good side whether we do business or not.
Come Wednesday we may well be bottom of the Premier. However any team that can stick 5 goals in the net at Anfield should be good enough to avoid relegation from the position in which we are in.
