I think whats happened is Jack has sacrificed flair for solidity with his signings and the result is less goals from open play either end .People were getting carried away with the last two results but last week we were fortunate to win and didnt really deserve it .I would have settled for 0-0 today considering the other results but another mistake by Rammers cost us .To be fair there was an element of bad luck about it because the rebound off the striker went straight towards an empty goal when it could have gone anywhere ,other than that he was good but we are in no position to allow him to learn his trade so the errors need to be cut out quickly.
It was a poor quality affair with little creativity , they were no better than us but will be very happy tonight just as we were last Saturday.
How anyone can say 2 goal O Grady is a better option than 15 goal Dennis needs their heads looking at ,O Grady was ok when he came on but he is very limited and again failed to find the target with the best chance of the match. All we do when OG is on the pitch is play the long ball up to his only strength which is the flick on . Dennis suffered from an awful lack of service due partly to Stevenage sitting back and packing the defence .
Im a clean sheets man and am glad we've stopped haemorraghing goals but we must continue to play on the front foot.
