Everyone talks about the draw being the fair result...and that Wednesday were poor.
I've watched the whole game twice now and only saw one winner - Wednesday.
Apart from the 2 chances for Wells and the Scannell one that was well defended in the 1st half....what did we create?
As for Wednesday....2 goal line scrambles, hit the woodwork twice, a couple of decent shots, and that 4 against 2 near the end where they really should have scored. I'm not including that penalty decision as I thought it was a dive.....stonewall my lily white arse. He left his left leg there in the hope it would hit Lynch's. Cheating in any language.
No I thought Town were poor. Didn't take hold of midfield and defensively looked dodgy. If Wednesday had had better strikers they would have won.
Murphy....he was my joint m.o.m in this game. Saved us a few times...although looked a little dodgy at crosses.
I actually thought Dixon had a decent game. Not too great defensively but did get forward well.
Hudson especially, and Lynch were pretty shocking.
All 3 midfielders were posted missing for me. Poyet....didn't do anything as far as I could see.
Bunn ok in small spells.
Holt ineffectual.
Scannell had some good runs and also tracked back well. Joint m.o.m.
Wells should have buried one of those chances at least...but he still got in the positions to at least try.
