Reading this board (and others) it's as though the Southampton, Spurs, Burnley, Man Utd and Leicester games never happened.
Was it not nailed on that we would win some games this year, we would lose some games, we would play like champions one week and like relegation fodder other weeks?
How long will it take for supporters to accept the above. Currently there is only Burnley, Toon, Saints and Chelsea bucking the trend. All other clubs are playing well below what their fans think.
What would we be saying if we were Stoke and had just been beat at home to Burnley, or if we were Liverpool after getting pummelled by Palace or even Leicester and not scored for 5 weeks?
We lost to an 'on fire' Newcastle side and lost away at run-away leaders Chelsea, with 10 men.
We need to keep some perspective here. Relegation might just do us good.
