Tell the Liverpool fans who were delirious at 4-1 up on Sunday but biting their nails with 2 minutes to go that it would have been pointless if we'd have had a go. Pritchard came on with 25 minutes to go and Kongolo with 20. How many shots on goal did we have in that time? Pritchard's free kick, that was it. It was pointless because we ran the clock down passing the ball around the back 4 (3?) rather than having a real go. You'd have thought we were 4-1 up not West Ham. We had 2 shots on target in 90+ minutes so the other one was Lolley's goal, how the hell do we expect to win games doing that? The Blue Mancs had 2 in the last 5 minutes, scored with both and had all the Scousers (with Norwegan accents) schitting themselves, especially when the net rippled in the last minute only to be wide and offside anyway.
In other news - you can play 2 up front and win games, but I don't expect us to change our formation as a result of what we will have supposedly learned from this game or the Leicester game. Smoke thread bubbling - another new bloody manager ....
