I would say McCulloch done well with the clearance unfortunately it hit McGregor.

Daly was clearly elbowed in the head on at least five separate occasions. That's got nothing to do with using a forearm to leverage for position.

McCulloch did well to make the clearance, but if he'd been in a sensible defensive position he would have been far better placed to clear the ball effectively. MacGregor wouldn't have come into the equation.

Edit: OK, five is a bit 'poetic license', three is more realistic. But still, Thompson only ever saw it one way.
