We are improving every match that goes by and the Pulis methodology is being beaten out of the players slowly but surely. A couple of good additions in January (Replacement for Evans, Yannis Salibur and a good striker) and I think we will stay up and have a base to improve upon next season.
16 matches left, 48 points left to play for and some very winnable games still to come. It is definitely doable.![]()
Right, where did I leave my medication? Oh nurse, I'm ready for my sponge bath.
Update on Livermore - http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footb...39601.html
Good on Jake for confronting the guy if he made those comments. Some football fans think they can say whatever they like to professional football players without repercussions. Just because they play football for a living doesn't mean they are robots who don't have feelings and don't feel feel heartache.
**** that West Ham fan.
100% on all the above Josh, and without having a go at anybody, I hope the players show a bit more hope and fight than some on here or we may as well just give our place up now. I'm not guaranteeing we're going to stay up, but I am hopeful
The 48 hour gap did for us last night, we clearly tired 2nd half, and again I'm not saying it's too much for our overpaid players, just that West Ham obviously had higher energy levels, but the difference in performances is massive, more possession and more chances, like a lot of teams we're a good "chance converter" away from getting a result. I don't know who the answer might be but it's one for the people who are paid to do it to find.
The Jake Livermore story is sickening if true that so called fan should be named and banned for life if he said what's being reported, and related to that ,what is pi55ing me off on here of late is the continual stick that's being dished out to the same players week in week out, Livermore, McLean, Rondon. In my opinion they've been no worse or better than anybody else this season, yet before during and after every game the blame gets saddled on one of these three regardless of how they've played. It wasn't so long ago that Dawson and Brunt were becoming the scapegoats. The team as a whole have been terrible, Foster is the only one who can hold his head up this for the last 12 months so why do people have to go on and on about the same players week in week out. Really gets on my nerves and unless they "dis" the shirt like some have done FFS get behind them.
