I think it's fair to say that it WAS the fixture schedule that beat us yesterday. To rant about AP in this situation is nuts;  he's been without The New Biscuitman, Phillips (the latter, certainly, seems a bloody waste of space) and Mozza who,  through the fault of PREVIOUS recruitment, contain most of our attacking guile.
It's looking bleaker by the game, but we're not out of it yet. The players we have ARE performing better, and, IMO, just need a creative midfielder and a goal scorer to change things .....maybe a big ask, I know, but once this monkey's off our back I'm sure things will pick up.
