Why do teams complain about playing 2 games a week?

Ska'd, it was a cynical throwaway comparison that I made regarding Sir Lenny. He was the first name that came to mind (esp with the Albion connection).
From my angle (being particularly cynical in my old age) I see ALL "Charidy" Celebs as people who think the "Charidy Worker" tag is a passport to public acclaim. So many of them (usually fading Stars, such as Sir Lenny) get pushed onto the Charidy Gameshows and such, pretending to "care passionately" about some Charidy, and don't exactly give their all to win the prize money - instead, they push their wares towards advancing their image.....job done!
Cynical of me, I know - but I read that Sir Bob Geldof (for instance) didn't really give a shit about starvation in Africa (according to other members of The Rats), but he saw the opportunity to turn from a past-it singer into a National Treasure overnight. OK, he worked damned hard for months/years to change the lives of tens/hundreds of thousands. But these Celebs are on a hiding to nothing (like those appealing for money on the adverts) - again, they get great acclaim, and a nudge towards NY Honours, just for doing a one minute ad.
I agree there are many many super-rich bastards who wouldn't lift a finger for charity, but the only trouble is we don't know who they are. Cynical me says that those who we know of that contribute £thousands should keep that information to themselves. They should do it anonymously.....but then, we'd never know who come into the good guys or bad guys category! (I'd love to hear that I was wrong, and that Geldof, Henry, Trump, etc "died penniless" because they had given all their earnings and wealth to charitable causes; or that it's no wonder that Boris Johnson chap is useless at his job - it's because he's out all night serving food to the homeless.

All-in-all I'm just a cynical old bastard - that's one Resolution gone down the toilet! Laugh
(Sorry to m/s Henry/Geldof if I might just have read fake news about them.)
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with
