If a good permanent manager became available tomorrow then that might be the time to move, but if the right man isn't available you don't look under pressure to make an appointment. Your squad ought to be good enough to finish mid-table even left to their own devices .........
Talking seriously to a Steve McClaren or a Tim Sherwood would be an act of self-harm. My team, Chesterfield, couldn't be in a much more dire state and our manager has only a couple of months experience, but if it were announced tomorrow that we'd ditched him and appointed one of those two there'd be a riot. They just couldn't be in the running for you.
