Maybe it's me but one of the most enjoyable season's I can remember in my 55 years following the Baggies was the Championship winning one under Tony Mowbray. With very few exceptions, every game was a joy and that was down to TM playing attacking football with a talented and committed group of players. You'd leave the game with a smile on your face, having been royally entertained. However, mention this on other forums or facebook and you're regarded as some complete idiot since this happened in the Championship and not in the Premier League.
I guess I'm trying to say I agree with the sentiments about relegation; I don't mind as long as it's seen as an opportunity to get rid of dead wood, bring in the talented youngsters we have and put smiles back on the fans' faces. I know it's not easy and that the Championship is much tougher now that when TM was manager but I'd rather see us put four past Brentford (apologies Brentford, just picked a name) than having the "privilege" of seeing us being humiliated by Aguerro, Kane or Sanchez. This doesn't mean you wouldn't want to get promoted but that is around the excitement and the euphoria of achieving something; once you arrive in the Premier League, I don't think the euphoria lasts long. I've now come to hate it.
What will be, will be but I don't think we should fear relegation- "feel the fear and do it anyway"
